Rajah Brooke Cafe, Sarawakian Food @ Kuchai Entrepreneur's Park

 Interior
A friend took me to this place to try out Sarawakian food, it was quite a cosy cafe. I was pretty excited as I get to try Kolo Mee and 3-layer tea.
 Showing off their stuff
 The menu
3-layer tea, was very nice. The tea is thick enough, and the sugar syrup smells good.
Cendol, the texture of the cendol is a bit different
Santubung Fried Chicken Drummet, taste ok only
Mee tomato, a real disappointment, took me a while to finish this
Kolo mee, can't be as good as eating it in Kuching itself
Hock Chew Red  Rice wine chicken rice, tasted good.

Can't remember the name of this dish.. (that's the punishment for slacking)

Will probably not visit this place again, no wow effect, for me that is. :P

Restaurant Jia Wei 佳味(冷气)海鲜酒家 @ Taman Gembira

On Saturday, I've planned a birthday dinner to celebrate birthday for a good friend. Took him to Restaurant Jia Wei at Jalan Kuchai Lama, nice food and good price! They were 8 of us and we ordered about 5 dishes of course all is gone!

Pumpkin & Salted Egg Basket 咸蛋酥
The Pumpkin & Salted Egg basket evolved from the traditional Yam Basket (佛本飘香), I really like this dish as it is unique and the salted egg & pumpkin combination is really good. You can change the filling inside, we've chose Kong Po Chicken (公宝鸡丁). The restaurant don't serve this dish everyday, if you would like to try this dish do call in to order in advance.

Stir fry veg

Taufu 招牌豆腐
This taufu is also very yummy, the taufu is cut into small cubes, deep fried and topped with minced pork (肉碎) & pickled veg (菜哺).

Butter Milk Mantis Prawns (奶油尿蝦)
The mantis prawns were shell off, for easy eating. The prawn is deep fried then stir fried with butter milk sauce.

Steamed Chicken Fish 酱蒸鸡肉鱼
This fish is called chicken fish as the texture of the meat is like chicken meat, and not much bones very easy to eat. The sauce was tasty, but the fish was not so fresh which we have already highlighted to the captain.

7 Sins of Chocolate... The Delectable, The Gardens, Midvalley

Went to Midvalley on Saturday, my friends ask me if I would like to join them, and I figured it's been a while since I've last gone there so I went. My friend wanted to buy a pair of sport shoes, that was the main reason they went there.

We stumble across this shop call The Delectable, then my friend started telling me about this shop and how the owner started this business. Then she said, they have this cake call the 7 Sins of Chocolate, apparently their best seller. She asked me 'You wanna try? I treat you.' How can I say no! We bought the 7 Sins of Chocolate which cost RM12, how did it taste? It tasted okay, maybe I was having very very high expectations cause of the name and the price. What I quite like about this cake is that it's not too sweet, if you love chocolates, you should try this out!

The packaging

 Some other things they sell

wah lah..

The different layers of chocolate

Here's what made up of the 7 layers, tt starts with a layer of smooth chocolate ganache, a layer of chocolate cake, topped up with light and airy milk chocolate mousse, a dusting of cocoa powder, a sprinkle of crunchy pure cocoa nibs for texture, and couverture pearls resting comfortably over the top!

A Walk in The Park.. Bukit Jalil Park

I have been going for brisk walking at Bukit Jalil Park lately, why do I go all the way there when I stay in Subang? I like the surrounding there, and also spending some time with my friends while exercising.

One of my friend has been telling me that she spotted a family of wild boar at the park, but we've been there a few times but was unable to spot them. Finally on Sunday, we 'met' them. They were looking for food I think, wondering around, some of the passerby gave them some bread. The bread disappeared instantly, I guess there is not much food to be found in the park. From our 'analysis', I think there is 1 papa pig, 1 mama pig, 2 kiddy pigs that was born the first round and 4 other kiddy pigs why do I say that? See for yourself..

Can you tell the difference?

Still wondering around

See the difference in sizes?

Hello there, nice to meet you..

Don't know if we will meet 'them' again or not, all the best to them living in this place!

ps: Thank you CF for taking this nice pictures!
